The Sacrament of Holy Unction / Holy Wednesday

Today, Holy Wednesday, is marked by the Sacrament of Holy Unction. This will be my family’s first reception of this Holy Mystery since we were received by the Church last fall. There are some remarkable resources online which reflect on this Mystery, as well as the service in which it takes place. One of the best I have found is at the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese’ website.
